Creativity and Building Stuff

You can create. The creative process begins with a seed of thought, that spark of inspiration and a little imagination to start with. Ideas that hold some weight tend to attract similar ideas and thoughts. A collection of thoughts, as they coalesce, would eventually snowball into thought processes, philosophies, ideologies, etc. We may not be able to completely understand whether we actually or rather absolutely create anything at all. That remains a wonder for us, beings, who have not yet understood the mysteries the universe holds.

Ideation

Imagining can be the initial phase in your creative process. It is possible that one comes up with truly original thoughts, those sparks of genius ideas - not inspired or influenced by anyone. However, when you get into the process of building stuff, things generally don't remain in their purest form till the end. Your finished end product incorporates or rests on supporting building blocks which could be borrowed or inherited from knowledge accumulated over time.

Self-transformation Through Creation

A creative journey holds power to transform you inside out. When you are in the creative process, there happens a lot inside you than appears on the surface. You may experience a surge in emotions. At the time, you might absorb, process and express a lot of emotions and feelings. Emotions hidden deep in the heart and soul could begin to surface. The whole process can feel incredible and even exhilarating to the senses. Happiness is inherent to any creative activity. When you engage in a creative process, you begin to automatically exude happiness. That happiness can multiply exponentially if you master the art of witnessing a creative process as it unfolds with a detached mind. When you learn to stay detached, a kind of joy arises in you that changes you completely and wholly.

Why Is Witnessing Significant?

When you learn to be a mere witness to all the processing that happens in such phases of turmoil, you gain the strength and ability to understand and even enjoy it. Detaching your identity from that which is temporary and elusive takes you closer to the shashwat (permanent/reliable/eternal).
