A majestic creature which emanates power and strength, lion is a force of nature which also has some sort of sage-like demeanor. Painting the lion therefore, was greatly a spiritual experience; the calm appearance of this big feline reconnects us with the strength and peace experienced in the depths of the soul.

A lion displays a characteristic of being detached and composed with an elegance comparable to a king. Tigers and lions are the big species of cats that have always fascinated us humans. One gets attracted to their magnetic presence. Truly, an amazing beast with regal aura!

All in all, an amazing experience creating this beautiful cat on canvas with oil as the medium.
