Joy of Painting
The painting process reminds you of the flow of energy which permeates your very being in a beautiful manner. The entire thing is an amazing and inexplicable experience. It is difficult to pinpoint the inspiration or source from which it all flows into the real, tangible world of manifestation.

Painting is an activity that offers the peace of mind one desires. The process of painting is beautiful and one must experience it to understand the joy it brings to the heart. It is one such activity that you could spend your entire life doing while enjoying it. A good thing about any art form is that you enjoy the process as well as the result; the journey itself is joyous and blissful. Thus, you don't seek out joy when painting but discover and uncover it everyday, every moment while practicing it.
It is fascinating to see the process of how you express yourselves through fine art, music or such form of art. One thing which you realize when practicing art is that one would know about his inner, spiritual world when he starts expressing himself. It is thus a meditative experience.
Writing and painting are such creative endeavors which tend to complement each other. Images and text are known to bring out the best in each other quite beautifully when used in tandem. Although they are different skills, one of the similarities between writing and drawing/painting is that they help ideas to flow from the invisible to the tangible world with ease; it feels as though you are pouring them - words and ideas - out onto something that is concrete like paper, canvas, wood, etc.
When you manifest the intangible into an artwork, you lend voice to something unheard, shed light on the unseen. Creating something can therefore, be arduous. There are moments when you overcome difficulties with ease and the flow is quite effortless and almost pleasing to the senses. May we all revel in the joy of creating forever!
Oil Painting
One of the best things about oil painting is that it offers you ample time to make amends and changes. You can add layers, keep the painting aside overnight and come back the next day to make changes; you might as well add a bit more gloss to your acrylic paintings by applying some oil paint on it. Oil paint does it all. It can be the ideal medium for beginners. You get to learn a lot in the process while painting with oil on canvas.
